The University of California, Davis is pleased to announce recruitment for a tenure-track faculty position in animal epigenetics and stress physiology. The successful candidate will join the Department of Animal Science in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences at the rank of Assistant Professor.

Criteria for appointment include: a PhD or equivalent; a strong interest in improving sustainable animal production by understanding how environmental, nutritional, hormonal, and behavioural stressors interact with gene expression; a record of excellence in scholarly research; and demonstrable potential to establish a competitively-funded research program relevant to animal stress in sustainable animal agriculture. The appointee will be responsible for teaching an undergraduate course incorporating stress physiology and additional contributions to the departmental curriculum.
