A total of 174 candidates sat the second diet of the examination held on 30 June 2010; 97 (56%) were in a UK training programme and 19 candidates had taken advantage of the free re-sit scheme. These numbers are a marked increase on last year when only 39 candidates in total sat the examination. Results are expected to be available on the MRCP website in the week ending 30 July 2010.
